The 3 Fundamental Laws of Wyckoff
The pillars on which the entire methodology is built
Law of Supply and Demand
Price movement is the direct result of the relationship between supply and demand. When demand exceeds supply, the price rises; when supply exceeds demand, the price falls.
Law of Cause and Effect
For there to be an effect (trend movement), a cause must first be built (accumulation or distribution range). The magnitude of the effect will be proportional to the cause.
Law of Effort vs Result
Volume (effort) must be in harmony with price (result). Divergences between them suggest a possible change in market direction.
Why do most lose in the markets?
Because they trade against smart money instead of with it.
Big operators (institutions, hedge funds, market makers) cannot hide their operations. When they move millions, they leave footprints. And those footprints manifest in price structures that repeat over and over again.
Richard Wyckoff discovered almost 100 years ago how to identify these structures. This book teaches you his complete methodology so you can detect accumulations before rallies and distributions before declines.
